it has moved a bit south taking us out of projected tropical wind potential cone path by a little.

Roslyn has shifted towards us since this morning, we are now in the range for topical wind forecasts.

to me the nicest weather for the beginning of October so far I can remember....

seems we are fine..

ok this one did a major shift from what windy was showing in less than a day, was to be in the pacific to what I atribute from the florida major hurricane is being pulled inland.  

now we have a bunch lining up, as large as the last one was could keep them lower force to class one hurricanes.

our daytime temps have been IMHO below the norm the past days... very nice, i remeber the old days when it was 2 days but this was many...

HW1 the road to Viscono south of GN is still closed last night.

For me lots of rut damage, much of it because I cut a hole in my water retention system so that I would have access to lower levels of my property.

barely any more rain, lots of non-damaging wind...

well Kay has been one of the most minor ones i can remember. Added to the ruts in my property, killed one cordless landline phone out and one bowl.

History shows us we are not out of the water yet... we need to be ready for 2-4 weeks from nows next one. Though I think the sea water temp is lower than usual for this point in the season.

blustery right now starting to pick up again, no major wind for a few hours.  the windy pick is the wind, note a small amount of water flowing in the arroyo, the arroyo i magnified the area and this is after really no heavy rain since this morning.

heavy rain again. we have short periods of heavy rain. and then long periods of very light rain.

not much rain and wind is not bad...  

in the windy pic you can see the mountains to our south are a light wind break right now.

just minor wind 20 to 30mph gusts and a little rain going on now.

woke up to the wind noise.  we lost electric about 10:30pm    amd we have it again.     I have some water that made it past my door from the south.     I have a squeegee and a mop used the squeegee as I have a 3/4 inch pvc drain hole in my elevated room.   that I push the water into.  

 I see right now in windy if accurate we are at 40mph gusts and that 60 mph should be here soon and would be our max gusts.   second one is their rain projection, if accurate we have already had most of our rain.

just looked at Windy and set it to wind gusts and the gusts look bad as it approaches us and passes us with the gusts from the south.
 

still on and off again steady drizzle. 6:30pm

just light off and on rain  since last update  the good is they removed the M but bad is opened up more potential of hurricane landfall in the baja more south, which is never a good sign.  

kids arrived from LaPaz, school out, but they said LaPaz barely has any rain.

strong wind maybe 30mph and heavy rain.

earlier my buckets showed about 1 inch so far then we had no rain till now.   and it is tapering off in intensity by 9:22 so about 15 minutes.

10:15 just had another 15 minute heavy downpour.

11:50 we had another cycle of 15 minutes of heavy downpour and nor nothing.

raining for about 1-2 hours now very light before and now decent rate.  Lots of lightning and no wind. 5:53 rain dropped off to drizzle

nothing right now but here is that outer band not the hurricane.

no significant rain for several hours. I have a wheelbarrel and a garbage can filled with 4 inches of water each, the wheel barrel is then about 3.5" with the taper.

much rain, maybe unofficial 1-2 inch or more at this point, light rain most of the night.    winds about 20mph to short bursts higher to about 30.  then drops to about 5-10.  

the normal flowing arroyos should be flowing and preventing people from coming or going to this town.     the big campground arroyo is still not flowing

has about 1/2 inch of rain a week ago it did not hit hot springs. . tonight a very slow steady trickling of rain.

yesterday 1/8 inch and storms in mountains to flood out the arroyos near the t to laPaz

today depending on where you were could have been 1 inch , my place 3/4 inch in hard downpour. lots of ruts on my property. because we had light rain yesterday this did allow to soak in.

was maybe 1/4 inch to 1/8 depending on location
