Here are a couple of sources for low power consumption and long life bulbs. LEDs last up to 100,000 hours and consume as little as 90% of the incandescent bulbs. I forgot my christmas light LEDs out last summer and th hurricane did not harm them, they are very durable.

For the florecent lights the higher Kelvin temperature gives more of a moon feel light.
