water spout 2014

lapaz 1/2 inch of rain in 1 hour?  we had about 2-4 inches in 1 hour maybe they got that number wrong..

water spout off shore in LaVentana baja Sur  Mexico,  90 miles north of cabo, 30 miles south of LaPaz on the sea of Cortez.  Island to the left is south end of Isle of Cerralvo.  

 will add more in a few minutes, and will drive out to punta arena to take more pictures if I have the time.   after it hit punta arena it dissipated..  








as it hits land it was very large below...   hit the Pt arena.  

 



here it is as it dies, you can see it is much thinner as it appears to be on land.
