Re: tablet-pad geek
bpeWhen traveling, most of us do not bring along our document scanners. However there are smartphone applications which utilize your phone's high-resolution camera to photograph documents and save them as multi-page pdf files. My personal favorite is Genius Scan, an application for iOS or Android or Windows phones. The resolution is more than adequate for printed documents, with provisions for saving as black and white, grayscale or color. Also, sheetfed scanners cannot handle books (unless you want to remove the pages), but this app works great for capturing images of the intact book pages. Give it a try! ¡Próspero año nuevo! craigom (aka Dr Mary's husband)
