a few tips

We're moving too. I went to Office Depot by Soriana, and they only have file
boxes in stock. We hired a local man to help us with translation, and he was
able to get us a bunch of boxes from Wal-Mart. ($200 pesos for a batch of them.)
This took a few tries, as many of the large stores won't release their boxes.
Home Depot also said we could line up for boxes outside their back door at 7:00
a.m.

All the information on my home was scattered around the house. I kept appliance manuals under my takeout menus, I had paint chips in my office drawer, and every time I needed a bulb or part, I had to pull it out and drive around town to find a match. Handy Hint: When you get your berries home, prepare a mixture of one part vinegar (white or apple cider probably work best) and ten parts water. Dump the berries into the mixture and swirl around. Drain, rinse if you want (though the mixture is so diluted you can't taste the vinegar,) and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria that might be on the surface of the fruit, and voila! Raspberries will last a week or more, and strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft.
