I posted the question on a larger site and so far one response someone suggested rosemary oil works. if you try this and it works could you confirm.

Now with all the rain, the no see um's bugs are all over my dogs. Was wondering if anyone has the magic potion to repell them. I tried the fabric softener on them and not cutting it. Any help will make doggies happy.
