kitchen items not to go off property

No item from here may be taken outside of the gate/property. special permission can be granted from me. The cost for approval is a minimum of $20.00 for my time and also deposit of a minimum of 3 times the price to replace it. Some items take me months to replace, it is getting easier with amazon in general it is 2-3 weeks but if a quality item not available amazon Mexico in general.
This includes cups and such, i have provided some carls jr cups for you to take. You should have your own personal to go cups.

Dealing with garbage.

Dealing with garbage. All users of the kitchen are responsible for taking out the garbage from the kitchen to where the city picks up garbage and put in proper cans that also has a lid. This should be done if kitchen garbage is at 2/3 full. If you do not want to do this that is fine just do not cook in the kitchen.
The city pick up for garbage is ONLY at the front gate to the north side, and we recycle as a minimum cardboard and aluminum cans. Other garbage looking cans be found around the property but NONE are for garbage, garbage only at the front of the property close to the road ie drive in gate.
It is very important the large can with a attached lid at the front gate that is ONLY for large kitchen garbage bags of items that have potentially items that spoil and attract flies and so on. (the reason for large is this is not usa, Canada or Europe where the trucks have lift arms, so they can not pick up heavy garbage cans, the have to reach in and pick up each bag one at a time.) So do not throw small items or small bags into these. Next we have larger cans that do not have lids. These are for dry items.
always smash milk and so on cartons and put the lid back on and put in cardboard if cardboard recycling, and if plastic smash and put lid on put in plastics recycling. Egg cartons are to be returned to star of oscoritos grocery stores. Beer cans are to be smashed and put in aluminum. Metal cans to be smashed and put in metal container (not in aluminum recycling). Cardboard including boxes are to be broken down and put in the recycling named paper or cardboard.

we have a septic system, please never put fat, lard, grease down it. put in a glass jar and wipe the remaining grease with a napkin from the pan.

If you use the drinking water and it empties when you are getting some, you pay for a new bottle and change it. If you do not want to do this then drink tap water or buy your own water from the stores.
Please do not use the electric oven, use the gas oven. There is a convection electric oven/microwave that can be used if gas stove is not sharable. Baja has an electric generationg shortage and electricity is 2-4 times usa Canada.
If you break it you replace it or just do not use it. This goes for anything on the property. Nothing from the kitchen may be taken off the property without written permission each time.
If you use the stove you need to clean it after use if dirty. You must also clean your pans in a timely manner. Then put the dried utensils away later.
One shelf in the fridges. Please put piece of used cardboard on your shelf with your name… each room gets one shelf during Christmas NY 2-3 weeks or when crowded. After that time one shelf per adult. Campers and RV do not get shelves unless paying an additional Kitchen use fee. One shelf storage container per person.
If cooking something on the gas stove you must remain in the kitchen area, no unattended use of the gas stove. Includes the tea water. If you are slow cooking at very low is an exception, and it is best to use the electric inductive stove in those cases.

Please rinse all sand off before entering the shower room. Sand in drains are not our friend. Sand does not dissolve and fills and clogs pipes, plumbing traps, and septic systems.
This is a desert with a water shortage, please conserve water. Take military showers where you wet yourself down and then turn off the water and lather up. Then on to rinse remove the soaps.
RV and campers are to use their own shower and toilets and or the bathroom at the wall. I will be installing a Urinal there that all makes should use vs the toilets.
Best if everyone uses the solar shower room that mediates the capacity of the septic system, this water feeds my plants. .
I am in the process of the following, have already added 4 stages of filtering the water entering the property, have bought a UV sterilizer that I will be sterilizing all the water entering the property. Plus I have bought a water softener to be installed, i have heard people in LV have had successs with water softeners. We no longer flush toilet paper and or anything. Use the garbage cans in the bathroom . If you do not mind use the metal room toilets and or the one at the wall. Rooms with toilets may flush toilet paper.

Kayak and SUP

I have a Kayak and SUP.
the paddles are behind the changing room. and must be returned to that location. Do not take other peoples/guests personal Kayak or SUPs. Also return the Kayak and or Sup back to the upper location one found it on, they are not to be left on the beach.
One has to send me an email that one is using the item before taking it out and one has to email me that it it is returned to same location.
If there are to many people using must send me an email to reserve it for 1 hour increments.

any items in my garage and so on you must get email permission to use before using it every time. And report back via email that it was returned to location. This includes yard items my kite equipment and so on. My tools are not part of the rental. One exception is arriving and needing a screw driver and i am not around, but must putaway on my table for return items. Do not try to return to the original location. ites are to be returned right to me. Why one may wonder, people have put items away not in the right place and i find them up to 5 years later.

I charge a lot to do laundry here, these machines are critical for me for my business.
If you do use them you must get email permission from me to do it. With this email permission from me must be done before 9am and you may not leave the premises before the items are hung. Only sheets go on the long lines, and only use a single quadrant of the hanging tree for your items. and items must be off the lines by 7pm that night.
No hanging of your own items on these lines for drying of your items without email permission too.

Please do not dry your items like towels and wetsuits on steel-metal items except aluminum. our water has a high salt content that destroys steel. also do not use the laundry area drying racks at all.

When lighting the gas oven always turn the pilot light on when the oven door is open. It can explode if you do not do this.

we have had problems with people leaving the stoves on because it is an outdoor kitchen and people turn the knob the wrong way thinking they have turned it off but put it on low because one can not see the flame on low. Please pay extra attention.
and again no leaving items unattended on the gas stoves. Unless it is on extreme low else best to use the induction electric one. Leaving a burner on can empty a large cylinder in a day, cost is about usd$60.00 or so.
When there is high wind please close the metal door so the flames are not blown out and have the large cutting board in places next to the stove. Or use the induction stovetop. I have a crock pot I can lend too.

this is a desert and we have water supply issues because of it. It is a horrible waste of water rinsing kiting windsurfing gear, wetsuits it just needs to be allowed to air dry.
Our water is so salty that it does no good and there is no way you can get all the saltwater bacteria out of it. I had never rinsed my windsurfing gear in a season ever. Use to have a sail shed where small trailer is and not once during the season ever rinsed my gear.
For departing to go on a flight , ya you can rinse your sand off it.

If you want to smoke step outside the gate. do not throw loose butts into garbage cans and or the kitchen garbage can. They stink horribly and they end up on the ground when the garbage men empty the cans. save your glass jars and put the butts into it and throw into garbage.

long term people should have their own towels and bedding if they want higher end bedding.
RV people should be using their own kitchens, are limited to very low power, no ac no running fridge on electric. Electricity in baja is expensive and could send me into the DAC rate for a year costing me a few thousand dollars.
Rv ers can get seasonal kitchen rights per person. Obviously when we do community meals RVers can use kitchen.
RV ers are not to use house utensils and cups, plates, cookware, and so on in their trailers/rvs.
RV ers if not hooked up to septic are to use the wall bathroom or metal bathrooms as a norm whale tale are primarily for white room guests. and specially if crowded.. Females are the exception.

I have a table that I need you to leave it on so l put it away, you must then email me you put it on the table with picture. If approved items must be returned by the end of the day, this includes shovels and so on. Yard items go to where I keep them is an exception.

If you plan on using a Kayak, SUP or other "house" gear please email before use with the details. return them to where they were never leave on the beach. and paddles go on the upper area, behind the changing room. and email that they are back.
If we have high demand several people anting at the same time we will go to a hourly fee that matches other beachfront resorts and sign up sheet.

Never bring sand into the shower. Rinse it off the feet before entering the shower rooms.
Take responsible showers, water is a scarce resource, in many parts of town and LaPaz homes only get water every 3-4 days. Plus we are on a septic system that is not huge. So wet your self down and turn off the water and lather yourself. Then turn water back on and rinse. I think they call these military showers.

Please please, do not allow any gate to slam when opening or closing, open and close by hand. Don't let them go and slam.
Always keep gates and walk in doors closed 24 hours a day... and front drive in gate must be locked 24 hours a day. Exception is you know for sure you will be back in 5-10 minutes you may leave drive in gate open, but not at night. (note someone may close it on ya though)

If the propane goes out to the stove there is a microwave or two in the kitchem, the larger microwave is also a convection oven. Also a single induction stovetop.
Please notify me. Do not change a propane tank yourself ever. Other resorts have had explosions by people not understanding how it is mandatory to test.

Drinking water is 40 pesos per 5 gallon bottle. In general you keep track about how much you use. Some people cook with the bottled water and some people have dogs who consume higher amounts of water so hard to say how much anyone uses.
The water from the faucet well people lived on it for 100 years. Please deposit the money in the white mail box holder by the bottled water.
Also all are to bring empties to the gate where the empties are stored and the filled ones are. And bring the filled ones down to under the table.
the system is on a refill timer that turns on at night to do a full refill. It also turns on around 3pm to refill. At that time you are suppose to be kiting. it is a noisy pump. The refrigerator I just replaced that was in this spot was very noisy which i as hearing impaired really disliked and no one ever complained bout it but me and it was on and off all day.. I have a similar system in my kitchen I just do not use as much water so the night turn on works great.
